How to Print a QR Code on Your Wedding Album Card

July 14, 2026 · Flipix QR

A QR code is only as good as its print. Get the size or contrast wrong and guests scan three times before it opens. Here is how to print a QR on your album card so it works on the first try.

1. Download the code at high resolution

Always export the QR as a large PNG or SVG. A blurry, upscaled code is the number one reason scans fail. Bigger source file, sharper print.

2. Mind the size

On a printed card, keep the code at least 2.5 x 2.5 cm. Anything smaller and older phone cameras struggle. On a large album cover you can go up to 5 cm.

3. Keep the contrast high

4. Test before you deliver

Print one proof and scan it with two or three different phones. Two minutes of testing saves an awkward call from the client's father-in-law.

Placement ideas

Inside the front cover, on a thank-you card tucked into the box, or on the back of a photo print. Anywhere the couple will naturally hand it to a guest.
